HG TIMBER LTD has been producing timber products since 1945 and is now one of the leading suppliers of specialised timber products in the UK and one of the most advanced manufacturers of pallets in the South of England.
The company supplies a wide range of standard and bespoke pallets and timber products to DIY, packaging, construction, storage, food, pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies across the UK and Europe.
Over the years HG Timber has built its reputation on quality of product, reliability of service and developing the skills of our people. We were one of the first in this industry to achieve ISO 9001 certification and FSC accreditation and also one of the first to manufacture products using FSC sourced material. We only purchase from suppliers who adopt and maintain similar high standards of quality and service.
We are the only pallet manufacturer to have been awarded a Royal Warrant which we held from 1967 to 1988. In 2011 the business relocated to Buckingham, investing £4 million in a purpose built 138,000 sq ft state of the art automated and logistically well placed production facility, creating the ideal base from which to provide an even better service to clients and produce the highest quality products with the least impact on the environment.

We’ve invested in the latest manufacturing technology and have one of the most advanced pallet manufacturing systems in the south of England, operating six high speed automated and robotic production lines producing 2-way and 4-way pallets, increasing efficiency and reducing lead times. This gives us the capacity to manufacture in excess of 1.3 million timber products every year just on one single shift.

Three Eco Friendly Heat Treatment/Kilns ran from our process wood waste.
A wood waste reprocessing facility with a biomass plant producing hot water which is used to run our two heat treatment kilns. The energy produced is also used to heat our production area.
HG Timber believes that timber is the most sustainable, renewable and environmentally friendly raw material available. It offers businesses with packing requirements, plus a number of other sectors including construction, retail and manufacturing, the opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint and therefore the effect their businesses have on the environment.
